Jack’s Mannequin is reuniting to celebrate their 20th anniversary, gearing up to perform across North America (with a few dates in Japan) this summer on the “MFEO Tour.”
The run will be preceded by a performance at Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona on February 22.
Fans of the band based in Los Angeles were offered a sneak peek of the upcoming tour, as the band performed in Venice for a surprise pop-up performance at The Venice West.
The band teamed up with Propeller to raise money for PLUS1’s LA Fires Fund, offering exclusive prizes to all in attendance who donated to the cause.
The MFEO Tour kickoff in Venice was a thrilling event for Jack’s Mannequin devotees, marking the band’s second show since their last run way back in 2016.
In 2024, the band performed on the Holiday from Real Cruise 2024, rocking out on The Pool Deck on Norwegian Gem, in Miami, Florida.
During that set, they offered cruisegoers plenty of treats, including a special performance with Zac Clark of “Drop Out - The So Unknown,” marking their first time performing the cut since 2011. Before the band performed their penultimate song of the set, they invited a couple on-stage for a surprise engagement. They then performed “MFEO: Pt. 1 - Made for Each Other / Pt. 2 - You Can Breathe.” Check out the full setlist from that 2024 gig below.

Their first 2025 gig offered up plenty of surprises too. The band opened the show in Venice with “Miss California,” the album closer from their 2008 album The Glass Passenger. It marked the band’s first time playing the song since 2010.
Other rarities included the first performances of “La La Lie,” “Annie Use Your Telescope,” “Miss Delaney,” “Amy, I,” and “Into the Airwaves” since 2016, the latter of which served as one of their two encore performances.
The band also unearthed “Release Me,” “Platform Fire,” and “My Racing Thoughts” for the very first time since 2012. Fans were also treated to the live debut of “Out of It,” an unreleased rarity from 2011. Check out a trailer for the Venice show below.

Alongside the announcement of the tour, bandleader Andrew McMahon shared his thoughts on the group’s reunion. He said: “Jack’s Mannequin was born out of one of the most prolific and transformative periods of my life. The songs narrate my journey from youth to adulthood, heartbreak to marriage, cancer to remission. The health crisis at the heart of this journey often made it difficult for me to fully appreciate just how magical this music was and how powerfully it connected me to my bandmates and the audiences we played it for. It’s been nearly fifteen years since the band and I have toured this catalog exclusively and it feels like such a gift to do so at a time in my life when I feel able to truly celebrate what we created together. Jack’s was always two things: a studio project and a live band that toured relentlessly. I’m so excited to bring it all back to life onstage for the fans that made it possible to take that strange and beautiful ride.”
