The Most Anticipated Tours of 2025

Even though it's January, it isn't too late to ask Santa for some gifts. If you're too old for Kris Kringle, how about manifesting some of these bands making their way to your town?

Here are 10 of the tours we hope actually happen this year, and make it to a venue near you.

AC/DC

The Power Up Tour was a long time coming.

A lot has passed since AC/DC last traversed around North America nine years ago. Angus's brother Malcolm has ascended the stairway to heaven. Singer Brian Johnson's hearing has gone and miraculously come back. And there's an entirely new rhythm section.

But at its heart is still one of rock's most exciting live guitarists and one of the most powerful setlists in history. Even the new songs pack a punch.

The Power Up Tour will hit 13 cities in the spring in some of the largest venues the band has ever played. Head to AC/DC's website for tickets.

BLACKPINK

The Korean phenoms will be doling out a bunch of new music this year. Lisa's solo album is scheduled to drop next month. Meanwhile it's hard to avoid Rosé's duet with Bruno Mars, "APT." So expect more singles from them throughout the winter.

However the ladies and their record label swear there will be a BLACKPINK "reunion" in your area in 2025.

“I can’t wait,” Lisa told Billboard last November. Same, girl, same.

Chappell Roan

Chappell Roan did it all in 2024 starting with Coachella, then a parade of festivals, the Tiny Desk, SNL, MTV VMAs, and even a few headlining gigs. But she didn't have her name plastered on top of the bill on a tour in basketball arenas named after insurance companies and banks.

2025 should be the year that happens. She doesn't even need an opening act. The emotional Aquarius who turns 27 next month (same age as two of the BlackPink ladies) might just throw us all for a curve and sit out while writing the double album of her dreams.

No one wants that though. We want her taking over the world.

Darkside

The experimental electro trio from the US's smallest state did the thing we're nervous Chappell may do. When they dropped their first LP in 2013 and toured the following year to mass appeal, they retreated to their homes. In 2021 they gave their desperately thirsty fans a followup album, but there was no tour.

Last year they released a new single, "Graucha Max" with their new drummer. Next month their new album Nothing comes out. Their tour begins in the spring and ends at Coachella.

Go to Darkside's website and get all the tickets for you and your friends.

Dua Lipa

Of the 36 appearances Dua Lipa made last year, eight were in the US, but zero were headlining gigs. This, despite the fact she had a #2 album in Radical Optimism and a platinum LP in 2020 with Future Nostalgia.

If anyone is poised and ready to break out it's the Brit with runway model looks and catchy songs that always have you thinking of other tunes. If her people get aggressive they'll find some new singles to put on a soundtrack or an expanded version of Radical Optimism because their ain't no way that album isn't a platinum record, except on the scoreboard.

Go to Dua's website for tickets to her tour.

Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with a 27-date tour with a setlist it promises to span their nine studio albums from Iron Maiden to Fear Of The Dark.

Thus, something for everyone. The new stuff as well as the classics that got them there. Will it be the same set night after night like their last tour? Some of you have told me I shouldn't concern myself with such trivialities. Fine.

But I'd be lying if I didn't reveal how excited I am for this tour, even with their longtime drummer sitting on the sidelines for the first time after 42 years in the band.

Run to the Iron Maiden website to grab your tickets while they exist.

Kendrick Lamar & SZA

Mussssssssssssstard!

It seems like forever ago when the Kendrick / Drake dis-off went down, but what an exciting time to be alive.

The only thing missing was a tour so audiences could all sing in A-Minor with the king of Compton.

Thankfully The Grand National Tour was announced to kick off in April with his TDE label mate SZA opening the show.

The only thing that could make this better would be if Doechii (also on TDE) fill out the program. GET TOP ON THE PHONE!

Grab your tickets on the Grand National website.

Lana Del Rey

She is so good. She is so beloved. She can be so magical.

On the other hand she always seems like she'd rather be any damn place than dolled up on a giant stage which is why she surrounds herself with unnecessary dancers or guests or a band.

There are a half dozen giant shows scheduled in Europe this year for the newlywed.

Will it expand when her so-called Country album drops? Hopefully. But don't be shocked if she just sings a few of the cuts from on top of a Waffle House live on Netflix and calls it a day.

Tickets for Lana's gigs including back-to-back dates at Wembley are available on her site.

Oasis

Unlike Lana, the Gallagher Bros love to play live, just not with each other. That tension could bring for some wild moments as they tour the world in what is probably the most anticipated series of shows in quite a while.

Have things truly gotten better between Liam and Noel or did the Brinks trucks of silver and gold simply put a Band-Aid on the sibling rivalry?

This summer we'll find out if this reunion will last forever or just until the bills have been paid. Go to the Oasis website to get on the waiting list for tix.
