Metallica Honor Cliff Burton during Italy Stop of the WorldWired Tour

Cliff Burton joined Metallica in 1982. The influential bassist performed on the band's first three studio albums, Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. In addition, Burton received posthumous writing credit for the song "To Live Is to Die" from the band's fourth studio album, ...And Justice for All. Burton was involved in a deadly tour bus crash in September of 1986, tragically ending his life at just 24 years old. The late Metallica bassist would have been 58 years old this month

In honor of Cliff's birthday, on February 10, the heavy metal legends in Metallica dedicated a live performance of “Orion” from their 1986 release Master of Puppets to him during their concert at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.
