Lynyrd Skynyrd Announce 2019 US Dates for Farewell Tour

Southern Rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd have spent the past year on their last tour ever. Last year, the band announced that after 40 years of rocking, they will embark on their Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour. They hit up over 50 stops in 2018 alone, and have many more places to visit this year, including sweet home Alabama.
Today, the rock icons have detailed North American dates that will extend into September. Last year, Gary Rossington explained to The Big Interview that:
“It takes a long time to finish a farewell tour when you’re like us, ‘cause we’ve played everywhere… I keep jokin’ it’d take ten years to do the farewell tour.”
We really hope it does take ten years for our sake... For now we got the 2019 dates in stone and that will kick off May 10th in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, after a headlining performance at Stagecoach, and wrap up September 28th in Orange Beach, Alabama. Support act will come from formidable artists Cody Jinks, Hank Williams Jr, and Bad Company on select dates.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, February 8th at 10am local time at Live Nation. Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m. local time until Thursday, February 7 at 10:00 p.m. local time through Citi’s Private Pass program. For complete presale details visit
During their 2018 Farewell tour, their top three most performed songs were "What's Your Name," "Sweet Home Alabama," and "Gimme Three Steps." Don't worry, "Free Bird" is a close number four. Make sure to check back at Setlist.Fm around kickoff time to see if they change up their set!
