Red Velvet's Redmare 2019 North American Tour Recap

South Korean girl group Red Velvet is one of the hottest K-Pop acts around, comprised of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri, the five-piece girl group has won the world over with their dual soundscape, it's in their name – Red representing their pop side while Velvet showcases their R&B sound.

The girls launched their Redmare Tour in South Korea back on August 4 of 2018, just weeks after the release of their #Cookie Jar EP and two days before the release of their Summer Magic EP which features their hit single "Power Up." The Redmare Tour made its way across Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan before traveling across the world for their first-ever North American tour!

The North American leg of the Redmare Tour reached the United States and Canada, kicking off in Los Angeles at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on February 7 and wrapped up in Vancouver at the PNE Forum on February 21, where the audience joined the girls to sing Happy Birthday to group member Wendy, watch the epic birthday wish go down below:

Redmare's North American leg played to over 34k fans with the highest attendance being at Toronto's Coca-Cola Coliseum in Canada, where 9,000 fans attended a single show on February 19.

Even though Red Velvet has only been around since 2014, their catalog incudes 2 studio albums and a 8 EP releases, which means cramming all of that music into one show is no easy task. It's worth noting that all eight shows from the North American leg featured the exact same setlist, the show opened with their hit "Russian Roulette" and wrapped with "Red Flavor," in all, 20 tracks were performed. Check out the setlist from their Pasadena show below!

If you're doubting Red Velvet's star power, during their Dallas show at The Theater at Grand Prairie, the girls asked the audience to cheer and the response is through the roof, check it out:

Other stops on the North American leg of the Redmare tour included Miami, Florida at the Fillmore Miami Beach, Chicago, Illinois at the Chicago Theatre and Newark, New Jersey at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

With such a short stint across North America, we're certain their rabid fanbase is already anxiously awaiting their next trek stateside.
