Incubus will be embarking on a 2024 arena tour this summer, and they'll be playing their iconic Morning View album in FULL. Since the album is only 13 tracks, the band will also by supplementing with other hits. The 10-city tour kicks off August 23 in Detroit and runs through September 12 in San Francisco. Coheed and Cambria will support on all dates.
Morning View, the Calabasas band's 4th studio album, was released in 2001 - so this isn't a clear-cut milestone year anniversary. They are, however, putting out a re-recording (double album entitled Morning View XXIII ) on May 10th.
“This album helped propel our little art experiment called ‘Incubus’ into a way of life and here we are today, some 23 years later, about to introduce a new/next phase of it’s existence. ‘Morning View xxiii’ is a re-recording/re-think of the 2001 album and is the result of our desire to honor this burgeoning legacy but also reimagine it as musicians who have been lovingly performing these songs night after night for the last 23 years. See you on the road soon!”
In terms of setlist stats, Morning View is their second most-performed album and they did a full playthrough at The Hollywood Bowl last October - see that setlist here. Although they've performed the majority of the tracks hundreds of times - Singer Brandon Boyd also calls this an underestimation in our Setlist Insider interview with the band - there are a few deep cuts that will be special to hear.
