It’s not just the return of the Vans Warped Tour that has the alternative crowd ready for summer 2025… but also the newly-announced Summer of Loud trek! With four rotating headliners — Beartooth, I Prevail, Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive — and more metal mainstays as support, this will be a hot and heavy event for rock fans everywhere.
"Summer of Loud is gonna be a clinic in metalcore ass-whoopery, and it’s an absolute honor to be a part of this epic tour with such good company,” says Beartooth singer Caleb Shomo. “Strap in for one of the most fun summer shows of your life.” Remember “Sunshine!”, one of the most popular songs off Beartooth’s fifth and latest record, 2023’s The Surface? The track will become reality at these upcoming shows, so don’t forget your sunscreen!
Meanwhile, his tourmates are equally thrilled to hit the road during the hottest months of the year. "The Summer of Loud tour is about to be the best metal tour of the year," states I Prevail's Eric Vanlerberghe. "Where else can you see some of the best modern metal bands all on the same stage? It's going to be a tour you don't wanna miss." We detect no lies. I Prevail is known for their uplifting mix of metalcore, pop-punk, and even a little rap…all the genres that have earned a permanent place in our summertime playlists.
Of course, moshing will still be the main event on the Summer of Loud tour. With support from The Amity Affliction, The Devil Wears Prada, Alphawolf, and more, this lineup is a solid mix of legacy bands and exciting newcomers that have shaken up the metal genre. We’re expecting more than a few sweaty surprises — including, perhaps, an onstage cameo from Shomo during the I Prevail set for their collaborative hit, Deadweight?
Or maybe even some deep cuts from Killswitch Engage, who’s debut self-titled album turns 25 years old this year? The possibilities are endless on the Summer of Loud tour, with tickets available beginning this Friday, February 28th for the following cities:
