Nine Inch Nails Live Debuts 'You Made It Feel Like Home' in FL

Nine Inch Nails played the second show of the 2026 North American leg of their Peel It Back Tour on Saturday (2/7) at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, fully locked in after their kickoff earlier in the week in New Orleans.

The downtown VyStar seats about 15,000 fans, and those who filled it were rewarded when Trent Reznor and company opened with a three-year-old song they had never performed live before.

This tour also marks the addition of bassist Stu Brooks, who replaces longtime multi-instrumentalist Alessandro Cortini.

Brooks, the 2x Grammy-nominated musician, known for his work with Danny Elfman, Ye, and Perry Farrell, now joins Reznor, Ross, and guitarist Robin Finck.

Cortini first entered the NIN fold more than 20 years ago after impressing the band in an open audition by easily moving between keyboards, guitars, and bass.

The night began with the live debut of “(You Made It Feel Like) Home,” written by Reznor and Atticus Ross for Luca Guadagnino’s quirky 2022 film Bones and All, starring Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Russell as two young cannibals(!) on a doomed American road trip.

Reznor took the B-stage alone for the low-key yet thrilling opener, where the quiet intensity and softness drew huge applause as he delivered the song’s haunting lines.

In a world that isn't ours
In a place we shouldn't be
For a minute
Just a minute
We made it feel like home

Halfway through the Jacksonville set, German electronic producer and DJ, Boys Noize (Alexander Ridha), rejoined the band for a few songs, as he did last year.

His contributions added extra punch to “She’s Gone Away,” “Closer,” and “The Warning,” before closing his segment with “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” the lone cut from the TRON: Ares soundtrack.

The film itself may have bombed, but NIN’s contributions and live rendition was the bomb, as you can see from the video above from the tour kickoff at the Smoothie King Center.

Not only was the sound and substance fantastic but the lighting and smoke effects were minimalist while adding just enough style.

Trent and the Boys rock the nation's capital tonight then Boston, Jersey, a couple of stops in Canada, and then coming back to the States for the rest of their tour.
