Arctic Monkeys Announce 2018 U.S. Tour Dates

British rock babes Arctic Monkeys are finally back and better than ever with a 2018 U.S. tour just announced AND a new album in the works. This will be their first tour since 2014 and first record since 2013. The excitement amongst fans is understated, the band already added an extra date in Berlin due to high demand. Now they’ve added some U.S. dates in addition to the European tour run, kicking it off May 5 in Los Angeles at the elusive Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
After their last tour in 2014, the band went on hiatus to focus on their personal lives. But since last April, there has been buzz about a new album and now it looks like we can anticipate one before the year is over. Bassist Nick O’Malley told motorcycle publication For the Ride, in regards to the new album, that “If it isn’t [out within the year] we’ve got problems.” The indie-rock band will hopefully release a new song before the tour and/or tease some songs off the new album during their jaunt. Notoriously known to put on a riveting live show that's packed with energy, you won't want to miss this timely comeback.
