Bon Iver is setting off this Spring for a tour across North America. He will suitably begin in Portland, Oregon on May 24 and trek along through to the Bonnaroo Music Festival on June 9. He will play three total festivals in between the tour dates, and a one-off show in Santa Barbara, California on August 8.
Bon Iver’s last studio album, 22, A Million, was released in 2016 and the band have intermittently toured behind this electronic, or “folktronica,” record since its release. Justin Vernon, the man behind the indie-folk band, recently announced that he will host a musical experience called “Lock Inn” at his hotel in his native state, Wisconsin, before the tour takes off.
Vernon premiered an unreleased new song at a show last month, so it should be expected that the setlist for this tour will include some new stuff. You can watch him performing the new song below.
