Shawn Mendes kicked off his new world tour, officially dubbed Shawn Mendes: The Tour, last night, March 7 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The trek includes 58 dates around the world, continuing throughout August across Europe and North America. While dates have yet to be named for other territories, we can expect more to come -with a song called "Lost In Japan" it would be crazy for Mendes not to hit Asia!
Fellow Canadian pop star Alessia Cara also joins the pop star's tour as a special guest on the U.S. and European legs of his global arena tour.
The night began with, you guessed it, "Lost in Japan," and continued with "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back," the smash single "Stitches," "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and live debuts of "Mutual," "When You're Ready" and "Particular Taste."
The set is comprised of over 20 tracks, all but one are Mendes originals - the singer did a rendition of Coldplay's "Fix You," and will likely shake up his covers per show. The night ended with two songs, including his latest hit "In My Blood."
