Unlocked: PRETTYMUCH

The guys of PRETTYMUCH are taking over the pop scene with their catchy tunes and swoon worthy lyrics. Comprised of members Austin Porter, Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Nick Mara and Zion Kuwonu, this budding group is anything but a passing ship, coming off a recently sold-out headlining tour as well as serving as main support on Grammy nominee Khalid’s Roxy Tour last summer.
In the latest episode of our series Unlocked, boy band PRETTYMUCH give us a behind-the-scenes look into their phones, sharing the importance of using the device for both business as well as pleasure. Get up close and personal with these talented artists as we learn their favorite apps, the importance of Voice Notes for a musician and much more!

Setlist Unlocked: PRETTYMUCH Reveals Their Favorite Apps
How do you feel about your phone?
Brandon Arreaga
“My relationship with my phone is pretty straight forward. A lot of times I don’t like to get too involved and yet it’s attached to me.”
Austin Porter
“Im pretty late, I feel like I am a very old person when it comes to technology.”
Nick Mara
“We have good times, we also have bad times.”
Zion Kuwonu
“I abuse it. It’s broken front and back. Shattered.”
Austin Porter
“I love it and then there’s times where everyone is hitting me up and texting me and I hate it.”
What do you use your phone for?
Edwin Honoret
“All of my lyrics and Voice Notes and song ideas are on my phone.”
Brandon Arreaga
“I use Voice Notes everyday.”
Nick Mara
“A lot of this is for laying down harmonies.”
Brandon Arreaga
“I have these saved under weird stuff, but we just did an accustic version for ‘Blind.’”
Nick Mara
“Sometimes I record songs in the studio when they’re not finished so we can have them and listen to them on our car ride home.”
Austin Porter
“I am either taking pictures with my phone or jotting down little liners. This is one I wrote down the other night, ‘She watched as he placed the stars in the sky just for her.’ Because I was hanging out with one of my friends and putting stars on my ceiling."
Most used app Zion Kuwonu
“My most used app is definitely Instagram.”
Edwin Honoret
“Instagram.”
Brandon Arreaga
“Actually text messages first, and then it’s Instagram.”
Edwin Honoret
“If Im in a situation where I feel like I’m awkward or things are getting awkward or I really don’t want to talk to nobody, I just kind of pull up my Instagram and hide in a corner.”
Nick Mara
“It’s got to be the music app. Right now my recents are looking a little weird because I just had a family party.”
Austin Porter
“For the longest time, I would try to get the guys to download this game, because it’s a four player, multi-player game like Dungeon Crawler. If you ever played the old Legend of Zelda it’s kind of the vibe of that.”
