Frank Turner Live Debuted "Be More Kind" On This Day in 2017

Punk and folk singer and songwriter Frank Turner played an indelible set on this day in 2017. Turner performed at Le Void in Bordeaux, France, where he live debuted his newest track at the time, “Be More Kind.” Since then, the song has been performed a total of 269 times. He recently included the song in the setlist from one of his online concerts on March 17, dubbed Live From Frank and Jess’ House! The 22-song setlist was packed with staple classics from his solo discography. Tracks from England Keep My Bones, Love Ire & Song, Tape Deck Heart and Be More Kind were performed for the crowd, with Positive Songs for Negative People taking up most of the songs in the setlist. He opened up with “The Sand in the Gears,” which was followed by hits such as “Get Better,” “If I Ever Stray” and “The Next Storm.” Turner then continued on with a completely French version of “Substitute.”

The song had only been played 11 times and was debuted in Paris in 2011. He also featured “Vital Signs” on the setlist, which has only been played 60 times. It was last performed on March 9, 2019.
