Fuji Rock 2020 Festival: The Strokes, Tame Impala, FKA twigs

With dates having been in place for quite some time, the Fuji Rock Festival has just announced their highly anticipated 2020 lineup.

Set to take place August 21-23 at Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa, Japan, the Fuji Rock Festival has been a long-running tradition in the hills of Japan for over twenty years, and is the biggest music festival in the country.

Originally organized in 1997, the festival has brought more than 100,000 people together per year in celebration of an ever-changing rock 'n' roll genre.

Having seen the likes of artists like Bob Dylan, Beck, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Motorhead, The Cure, Radiohead, John Fogerty, Muse, the Foo Fighters, Neil Young and ZZ Top, it’s clear that the festival has had a lot to live up to over the years.

Fortunately, the recently released 2020 lineup appears to more than satisfy the high expectations of such an event.

From acts like The Strokes, Tame Impala and Disclosure to artists such as Major Lazer, Mura Masa and FKA twigs, it’s hard to imagine a more diverse and talented lineup thus far. That’s right, although a long list of artists has been released, the Fuji Rock Festival promoters have promised that there are even more lineup announcements to come.

Other notable artists that have been announced include Jackson Browne, Rufus Wainwright, Altin Gun, Black Pumas, Blackbear, Celeste, Clairo, Men I Trust, Future Islands, Metronomy, Colin Benders and Emotional Oranges.
