King Gizzard Live Debut Five Songs for First Shows of 2022

Prolific Aussie rockers King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard played a 3-hour marathon set in their hometown of Melbourne this past weekend (March 5). They packed 25 songs into two sets, four live debuts among them. Three of the songs are unreleased, but the assumption is that they're tracks from the forthcoming album that the band has been teasing about since August 2021 - what fans are calling the "Emoji" album in the meantime, a nod to all the hints released so far via Twitter.

Their Monday (March 7) night show in Sydney was a shorter set - 14 songs- but all the new ones from Saturday were performed PLUS the live debut of "Blame It On The Weather".

During the 2nd set in Melbourne, KG live debuted "Soy Protein Munt Machine" from their 2017 album Murder of the Universe. We haven't seen footage of that yet, but please enjoy what we DO have, and check out the setlists from both nights below:

King Gizzard will embark on their world tour later this month, beginning with Lollapalooza Argentina. The Aussies land stateside on April 11, kicking off their US leg in San Diego, California. Full list of dates and details here.
