Rising star rapper Doechii blew attendees in Florida away Saturday (3/8) after she was invited by Ms Lauryn Hill to join her on stage.
Last month Doechii joined Hill in the record books when she became just the third woman to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album. Previously only Cardi B. and Hill were members of that tiny club.
When Doechii took the mic it was instantly understandable how she won the Grammy and why it probably won't be her last.

Doechii was so fast, precise, and sexy in her crop top that many called the performance a passing of the torch from Hill to the Tampa rapper / singer.
The whole time Hill was cheering her on, giving Doechii all the space to run through several original songs.
Afterward Doechii got on social media to declare her love for Hill.
"The first full length album I ever listened to was The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill. My mom would play it from top to bottom everyday on my way to school for years 🤎," Doechii wrote on Instagram Sunday.
"I would sing your songs as if I wrote them, imagining myself on stage. Each song deepened my love for music and my curiosity to write raps. My favorite lyric in Doo Wop is 'don’t be a hard rock when you really are a gem' that stuck with me anytime I wanted to 'get even' or harden my heart towards those who wronged me.
"I carried your principles with me during my coming of age. And I carry them with me now at this current stage of my career, your lyrics are close to my heart," she continued on her account that is followed by over 4.6 million people. "Thank you Miss Lauryn Hill. This is the greatest honor hip hop could give me. Praise God 🤎"

Hill had performed for about 90 minutes before she had Doechii on to entertain the crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, not all that far from where Doechii aka the Swamp Princess is from.
As is common in her shows, Hill loves to sing with a variety of special guests. This gig had her jam with Fugees-cohort Wyclef Jean, Busta Rhymes, Samara Cyn, Foggieraw, Mannywellz and family members YG Marley and Zion Marley.
But it was Doechii who stole all their thunder. "You are the greatest OF ALL TIME," the rapper praised Hill before going into a scorching version of "Nissan Altima."
The single is from that Grammy winning album (or as what she calls it, a mixtape) from last year, Alligator Bites Never Heal.
While it's understandable that people might consider this warm welcome to Hill's stage, and Doechii's humble acceptance is a passing of a torch, and as much as audiences can't get enough of her, in many ways that Grammy was the first step.
Doechii is still an artist who has yet to headline even one tour. Currently there is nothing on her calendar to suggest she will be doing much more than these type of guest appearances or perform in summer festivals.
While tickets for those shows can be obtained via Doechii's website, why is there a delay in putting together a world tour for this world-class talent?
She doesn't have to be the opening act of the Kendrick / SZA GNX stadium tour. Though that would make so much sense.
At the end of the month she will be honored as the Woman of the Year during Billboard's Women in Music night at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood.
Last year Lana Del Rey received the Visionary Award at the event. Doechii could tour around the country with Lana, who also loves hip-hop, and who also just happens to have a giant hole in her schedule.
Tell me that wouldn't be a show that could sell out any barn in the nation.
