FKA Twigs kicked off her Eusexua Tour in Paris last week (3/13) with a visually hypnotizing stage show that included a bunch of live debuts.
The sultry singer/songwriter/dancer also filled out the setlist with several unreleased tunes and a couple deep cuts she hadn't performed live in years.
The 23-song set at 6k+ capacity Le Zénith was broken up into three eye-opening acts and an encore.
Because the British singer of mixed heritage (British mother of Spanish descent and a Jamaican-Egyptian father) merged several songs together during the gig, about 30 songs were heard during her headlining show.
The entire production was inventive and mesmerizing, completely on-brand for the 37-year-old artist whose first EP dropped in 2012.
Of the 11 tracks on Eusexua, her third full-length studio album, only "Wanderlust" was not performed. So those of you holding tickets for future gigs still have a chance to hear a live debut.
Given that song's incredible falsetto portions, she might not dust it off very often, as there's no way that's good for her voice.

The album has been a work in progress for quite a while. The unusual name is something she created, according to British Vogue who sat down with her last year at this time.
"[It's] a word she invented to describe the sensation of being so euphoric that you transcend human form," Daniel Rodgers wrote in the feature about her.
“'It’s like when you’ve been kissing a lover for hours and turn into an amoeba with that person. You’re not human anymore, you’re just a feeling,” Twigs explained to him.
“Or that moment before an orgasm: pure nothingness but also pure focus. That’s kind of the way I want to live my life right now."
The album was inspired by her latest love: techno. But not the hard-driving mindless club thumping, instead a more sensual, sometimes subtle beat she says was initially inspired by the rave scene in Prague, Czech Republic, which she made her home for a number of years.
“There are kids—in a place that has, only in the last fifty years, come out of a Communist regime—that are fucking raving in a park,” she told The New Yorker of the Czech youth who she was able to blend in with easily, unlike in other metropolitan cities around the world. “And they’re cooler than us!”
Calvin Klein would beg to differ. The fashion house thought there was no one cooler than Twigs way back in 2023 when they used "Striptease" for an ad campaign two years before the song would find a home on Eusexua.
In October Twigs doled out some samples of both the album and what would be elements of what fans would see on tour during her performance at London Fashion Week in a show she called THE BODY IS ART.
Could there be a better place to perform this album which will remind listeners of both Bjork and Madonna's most successful endeavors with electronica than at Coachella?
FKA Twigs will be dancing about on both Friday nights in Indio next month. She will also be making appearances in Europe, Canada, and Mexico. Get your tickets on FKA Twigs' website.
