Muse are heading back out this summer with the “WOW! Signal Tour,” a North American run that kicks off July 5 in St. Louis and wraps August 31 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The dates land just over a week after their tenth album, The WOW! Signal, arrives on June 26, and it’s going to be an epic new chapter for the British rock group.
Where does the title come from? It’s pulled from the real-life “Wow! Signal,” a mysterious radio burst detected in 1977 that some believed could have come from outside our solar system. Muse has always played around with cosmic themes — as evidenced by their beloved Black Holes and Revelations album that turns 20 years old in 2026 — but something about these new songs feels super cosmic and captivating.
Between the rollout (including an announcement broadcast from space) and the early visuals around “Be With You,” Muse has clearly locked in. The first single racked up over 3 million global streams in its first week, while fans are already picking up on relatable themes of isolation, connection, and whatever exists beyond us. They’re intentionally keeping the rest of the tracklist secret until summer, but if we know Muse?
It’s going to be packed with existential hope and cosmic melodies you can’t miss seeing live. These new tracks will make an excellent addition to Muse classics like “Hysteria,” “Time Is Running Out,” and “Uprising.” And while we’re unsure of the stage effects at this point, we wouldn’t rule out some celestial lighting that transports you into Muse’s personal universe.
