Imogen Heap Kicks Off North American Leg of Mycelia World Tour

Imogen Heap has kicked off the North American leg of her 2019 Mycelia World Tour. Each date of the 13-stop trek will feature two unique sets- a solo performance and a set as part of Frou Frou, an electro-pop collaboration with Guy Sigsworth. The current shows which kicked off April 28th in Miami, Florida, are Frou Frou's first official performances since 2003. Another distinct element to the Mycelia World Tour, is that it's not just a live performance. Each of the North American dates are to include workshops for local music-makers, and others interested in the industry. In a press release ahead of the tour kick off, Imogen Heap commented on the special shows:

“Through Mycelia and its ‘Creative Passport,’ as music makers we now have no excuse but to put our best foot forward and become open for business, decentralising the ecosystem so that it will ultimately benefit everyone. I am excited to be going on the road to bring this to life, in addition to showcasing other new technologies which will add to transforming the music industry into a fair, flourishing and vibrant place.”

The first set of Imogen Heap's tour kick off at Miami Beach's The Fillmore started off with a 9-track setlist, primarily consisting of beloved Frou Frou songs like "Guitar Song," "Breathe In," "Flicks," and "Close Up."
