Scorpions Kick Off Vegas Residency with Four Live Debuts

German rockers Scorpions kicked off their Las Vegas residency this past weekend (March 26) at Zappos Theater. The band ripped through an 18-song setlist that featured four live debuts from their newest album, Rock Believer. RB is their first studio album in seven years - and first with new drummer Mikky Dee, formerly of Motorhead.

Scorpions opened the show on night #1 with "Gas in the Tank" - also the LP's first track. See some fan footage:

"Seventh Sun" and "Peacemaker" were the next back to back live debuts and mid-set they delivered an acoustic version of "When You Know," Rock Believer's closing track. Here's "Seventh Sun":

After playing an acoustic version of "Send Me an Angel" they dedicated their power ballad "Winds of Change" to the people of Ukraine, saying: “This song is calling for peace, and tonight, I think, we shall sing it even louder."
