Heart, the loveable Seattle sisters who have rocked us all these years with classics from "Barracuda" to "Crazy On You," are back on the road with their familiar riffs and soaring vocals.
Last year the women celebrated the band's 50th anniversary. And yet when you hear Ann Wilson's piercing delivery and Nancy's guitar playing it's like from the Dog & Butterfly era.

But Ann admitted on stage last week that she may need to sit down from time to time thanks to a recent knee surgery.
Then, in a very rock n roll way, said to the crowd, "Who's had a knee replacement? Come on!" who cheered, affirmatively.
As they've done throughout their fruitful career, Heart plays many of their hits from the '70s and '80s, delivers a few of the best Zeppelin covers you'll hear, and then add in something unexpected.
On 4/20, at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in South Carolina, the opening night of the Royal Flush Tour, there were a few nice surprises. The first was "This Is Now," a song from Ann's sideband, Tripsitter, which had only been played three times previously.

They also covered the 1983 David Bowie bop "Let's Dance," which they did a few times at the end of last year, perhaps to test out for this tour?
Perhaps the most special moment was when during an acoustic mini-set they played the title track of Dreamboat Annie, something they haven't performed live since 2016.
Any time you can score a flute solo at a rock show, that's a good day.
The pairing of Heart, the Seattle songbirds with Cheap Trick, the Rockford rockers, dates way back. On April 18, 1981 the pair appeared on the same bill alongside UFO, Blue Oyster Cult, and another band not afraid to whip out their metal woodwind, Firefall.

The sisters, now in their 70s, will be touring the world this year so you have no excuse not to catch them and the rest of Heart, Ryan Wariner, guitar; Ryan Waters, guitar; Paul Moak, guitar; Tony Lucido, bass; and Sean Lane, drums.
Grab your tickets on the Heart website. And get there early.
In the US, Cheap Trick, who also celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, will flick guitar picks at you while singing "Dream Police," while supporting Heart.
In the UK, Squeeze will pull sorta gross seafood from shells while they open.
