Demi Lovato began the “It’s Not That Deep Tour” in Orlando this week, and the opening night signaled something real… she’s a triple threat in her most exciting chapter yet. Structured in four distinct acts, the set pulled from her older hits and newer singles (three live debuts, to be precise) to create a show that never slowed down for even a second.
The show opened with “Fast,” an electric track that put the entire audience in the mood to dance. Featuring on her latest album, 2025’s It’s Not That Deep, these modern numbers represent Demi’s return to her dance-pop roots after 2022’s rock-inspired Holy Fvck. And as the night progressed, fans couldn’t get enough of upbeat new songs like “Kiss,” “Frequency,” and “Here All Night.”
But don’t think Demi wasn’t there for nostalgia, too. “Heart Attack” got a remix that hit even harder live, and from there, Demi ran through staples like “Tell Me You Love Me” and “Confident” without skipping a beat. She also put her insane vocal range front and center on “Skyscraper,” before diving back into new material with live debuts of “Low Rise Jeans,” “Fantasy,” and “Joshua Tree.”
But the real shift came in act IV, when she brought her friend and fellow Disney Channel icon Joe Jonas out to sing with her. “This Is Me” — yes, that “This Is Me” from Camp Rock — makes its return, followed by “On the Line,” performed live for the first time since 2008. It’s the kind of moment that could’ve easily felt gimmicky, but instead it lands somewhere between nostalgic and genuinely emotional, especially for fans who’ve been around since the Disney era.
From there, Demi closes strong. “Stone Cold,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” and “Really Don’t Care” bring the energy back up before the encore lights up the room with “Sorry to Myself” and “Cool for the Summer.” It was the perfect setlist to symbolize Demi’s versatile artistry and killer voice — and those lucky enough to witness it on later dates are in for quite the surprise.
