Story of the Year and Silverstein Plot Co-Headlining Tour

Attention, post-hardcore kids…your two favorites are hitting the road together this summer. Silverstein and Story of the Year have announced the “Camp Screamo tour,” kicking off July 12 in Asbury Park, NJ, and wrapping August 7 in Buffalo, NY, with stops in cities like Kansas City, San Diego, and Nashville along the way.

“We’re stoked to be playing a bunch of new songs from A.R.S.O.N., bangers from Tear Me To Pieces, as well as all of the classics you grew up listening to,” Story of the Year said in a statement. “We’re pumped to be sharing the stage with Silverstein. They are great dudes and they rip live. They’re also a really important band to the scene, and their records just keep getting better and more inspiring to all of us listening.”

We detect no lies. Silverstein put out not one, but two new records last year, Antibloom and Pink Moon, that remind us why they’re one of the scene’s greatest. While many of their peers are leaning into nostalgia-driven sets, Shane Told and Co. continue to prove they only get better with age. And we can’t wait to scream along to new tracks like “Drain the Blood” and “Stress,” alongside older favorites like “Smile In Your Sleep.”

As for Story of the Year? They’re no slouches, either. As their statement suggests, they put out their seventh album earlier this year, which is considered one of their heaviest releases yet. Have you heard "Gasoline (All Rage Still Only Numb)"? It’s a certified banger that inspires emotional release in all who listen to it…and just wait until you see the pits that emerge when this song starts playing. From festival crowds to mid-sized venues, you’ll become immersed in SOTY’s set from start to finish.

This trek spans every era for both Silverstein and Story of the Year — who have been groups to watch in the alternative scene for over two decades now. Even with their new material in the setlist, each band isn’t walking onstage without the classics… as Shane Told reminded us in Silverstein’s ‘Setlist Insider’ piece in 2025. So whether you’re an old or new fan, you’ll be satisfied by this screamy matchup that’s been years in the making….

And you can’t wait to grab tickets for one of the best rock tours of 2026. General onsale tickets go on sale Friday, April 10 for the following dates:
