If there is anything I love more than pasta, it’s Twenty One Pilots. Throughout the years, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have played their way to success and even won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2017. To think, eight years ago today the duo live-debuted one of their most successful songs to date. A song that sends a chill down my spine every single time I listen to it.
“Car Radio” is the fifth single off of Twenty One Pilots' third studio album Vessel. The single is currently certified 2x platinum in the United States. On May 1, 2010, they performed at Newport Music Hall in their hometown Columbus Ohio. The venue only holds a capacity of 1,700 people.
During their set, the duo only performed seven songs and four of those were live debuts. Besides “Car Radio,” they performed “Time to Say Goodbye,” “Slowtown” and “Trees” for the first time. Fans at those show are probably the luckiest people to exist for being able to witness that live for the first time.

Twenty One Pilots went from performing a seven song setlist at a small venue to performing 23-song setlists and selling out arenas. I’m crying, I am so proud of my sons, they did THAT.
Currently, they are on a hiatus. After reaching mainstream success Tyler and Josh decided it was time to take a break. It has almost been a year since we have last seen or heard from Twenty One Pilots. I miss them so much; I don’t know what to do with myself. Tyler and Josh please come back soon and save music.
