Jack Black is a great comedian, but he was also born to rock-n-roll. Tenacious D is evidence to that statement, and him and bandmate Kyle Glass are answering fans prayers by finally touring again. They've also teased that they're working on a follow up album to 2012's Rize of the Fenix.
The eight-date run will kick off November 3rd in Brooklyn and conclude on November 13th in Chicago. Prior to this, the rock-comedy act will also make an appearance at the Montebello Rockfest in Montebello, Quebec, as well as a set at the Foo Fighters-curated Cal Jam '18 in October. Hopefully during these dates, we'll get to hear some of those new songs they've been working on!
Tickets for Tenacious D's short run go on sale May 18th at 10 a.m. local time. A pre-sale is set for May 16th. You can find more info on the band's website. In the meantime, check out the band's hilarious and entertaining tour teaser in the short, animated trailer below.
