BottleRock Napa Valley launched in 2013, and with it brought a heavy-hitting lineup featuring bands like Zac Brown Band, Black Keys, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Flaming Lips, Jane's Addiction and Kings of Leon.
The inaugural festival took place at Napa Valley Expo and ran from May 8 through May 12 with a headlining slot from Kings of Leon on May 11. This marked the first time Kings of Leon would perform in 2013, with only 3 shows in the books for all of 2012. Their return to the stage at BottleRock also marked the kickoff of their 2013 Summer Tour. To top it all off, the band performed a new song at the festival titled "Don't Matter," which would be the first taste of new music fans would get to hear from their 2013 studio album, Mechanical Bull.
The setlist from their BottleRock show opened with "Radioactive" and featured "Sex On Fire" as their main set closer before they returned for a 3-song encore. The encore featured "Closer," "Use Somebody" and closed out with "Black Thumbnail" for a total of 21 songs during their 2013 BottleRock performance. Check out the full setlist below!
As a bonus, we did some digging and found this performance of "Don't Matter" uploaded on May 12, 2013, which means we're pretty sure it's the live debut of the song during BottleRock.
