Beyoncé Kicks Off Renaissance Tour with Debuts, Covers, 'tude

Beyonce kicked off her Ressaisance World Tour last week in Stockholm Sweden with an epic three hour, nearly 40-song reminder of why they call her Queen. She even listed herself as the opener... for herself.

Showing little rust despite being her first solo tour in six years, Beyonce's show is divided into seven sections and nine costume changes.

To appease the queen, one of her dresses changed itself from white to multi-colored...

... and when it transformed she instructed the crowd to "put your hands together" which was difficult since many were covering their mouths gasping at what they witnessed.

The set consisted of every single song from the new Renaissance album. That's right, all 16 tracks were performed either in an excerpt or in its entirety, so if you're lucky enough to have scored tickets for any of the 50+ upcoming dates, you might want to familiarize yourself with the tracks other than "Break My Soul" and "Cuff It."

One of those newer tunes which received a live debut has already gone viral. "America Has A Problem," - a song about sex, drugs, and wealth - came to life when Beyoncé walked out in a herky-jerky way dressed as a sultry futuristic bee.

The crowd not only responded enthusiastically, but the exaggerated waddle is already trending on TikTok,

most notably by Swedish duo Icona Pop, who most definitely loved it.

In total the spectacle featured 18 live-debuts including the "Savage" remix where she was featured on the Megan Thee Stallion hit. Beyoncé performed this one on a mini tank, because why not?

For those who may feel a bit overwhelmed by the three dozen songs on the set, enjoy this little medley of hits. This is "Love On Top" intertwined with the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" into "Crazy in Love." Bey, like Janet Jackson, likes to give her audience tastes of songs instead of huge portions. Which is good news and bad because if you run off to get a beverage you might miss a half dozen selections.

Beyoncé will continue her world tour across Europe through June, then head to North America in July with dates in all the major US cities including three night stands in LA and Atlanta.

Tickets are scarce but the available ones can be grabbed on her website.
