Peter Gabriel Kicks Off i/o Tour in Kraków

English musician Peter Gabriel kicked off his first headlining tour in nearly a decade last week (May 18). The i/o tour, which is also the name of his upcoming album, had its first night at Tauron Arena in Kraków, Poland.

The singer reportedly took the stage at 8:05PM and opened the 23-song setlist (divided into two sets) with acoustic, stripped down versions of "Washing of the Water" and "Growing Up" -- the latter of which had not been performed since 2004, on the Still Growing Up tour.

The first of many live debuts of the evening was "Panopticom" followed by the first-ever live performance of "Four Kinds of Horses" and title track "i/o." See some fan footage of Panopticom:

"Olive Tree" and "This Is Home" were live debuted before Gabriel closed set 1 with his 4th most-performed song to date, "Sledgehammer." Check out "Olive Tree" from the audience:

The first live debut of the second set was "Road to Joy" - and someone with great seats got that on tape:

"The Court" and "And Still" were inaugural performances, with "And Still" getting a dedication to Peter's mother.

"Live and Let Live" was the final debut of the night, followed by set closer "Solsbury Hill" - PG's #1 most-performed song to date. He came out for two encores, "In Your Eyes" and "Biko" which also rank among his most-performed songs.
