Upon just reading the name, I guarantee the starting horns from "Spiderwebs" started blasting in your head. This legendary '90s track by chart-topping band No Doubt is so engrained into our musical playlists that if you've never heard it, you've been living under a rock.
It became a massive radio hit after its release in 1995, accompanied with a kickass music video, and to this day it has never left the airwaves. The ska-punk track eventually became the band's most performed song, but it got its beginnings in their hometown of Anaheim, California. Before it was even released on the iconic album Tragic Kingdom, the song was performed by the band on this day (May 25) in 1995 at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. The concert was in honor of Grad Night, a celebration the theme-park would annually throw for some very lucky high-schoolers that were graduating.
That blissful night, hundreds of high school graduates got to witness No Doubt perform "Spiderwebs" for the first time ever. At the time, No Doubt hadn't seen the fame they were about to meet only sixth months later, so it's reported that a lot of kids walked by and opted to hop on rides instead. But those who did get to witness it will be apart of No Doubt history forever.
The rest of the set included hits we would have died to hear live if it were today like "Open the Gate," "Paulina," and "Total Hate." They also performed "Just a Girl" which was slowly becoming a setlist staple by then.
