The Used kicked off night 1 of 3 headlining shows this past Thursday at The Wiltern.The band is currently on their 25th anniversary tour, playing their first 3 records over a span of 3 nights in every city. Thursday kicked off the LA portion of the tour, with the group performing their 2002 Self Titled album in its entirety.
Night two was dedicated to In Love and Death (2004), with night 3 dedicated to Lies for the Liars (2007).The set began with a nostalgic montage of clips from the band's early days, right into album opener “Maybe Memories.” The set included obvious hits from the self titled album such as “The Taste of Ink”, “Buried Myself Alive”, and “Blue and Yellow”, along with songs like “Greener With The Scenery” (Bert commented they never play this song live) and “Pieces Mended.”
The tour has been so successful that the band recently added a second leg, with dates added in Anaheim, Dallas, and Philadelphia just to name a few.
