How do you follow Jelly Roll bringing up Eminem at Detroit's Ford Field?
That was the dilemma Post Malone faced Sunday (5/18) at the home of the NFL Lions.
So since there would be no way to out-do trading rhymes with Slim Shady in Michigan, Posty brought out BigXthaPlug during the Big Ass Stadium Tour stop.

Together the heavily-tattooed Dallas rappers gave the 60k Michiganders "Texas" from BigX's 2023 debut album, AMAR.
"I actually didn't even like the song at first," BigX, born Xavier Landum, told Complex shortly after the single dropped and quickly took off .
"I didn't like the beat. It was just something that my team felt would be good, like, 'Hey, this could spark up something.' I believed in them and we did it in and now here we are."

“When I say Texas, I'm talking about my whole state. It can be Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, or wherever. It's all love from me,” BigX explained.
"I'm so honored and so grateful to be able to call him my friend," Posty said as he introduced him to the crowd and the two performed "Texas."
Even though he was born in Syracuse, New York, and now lives in Utah, his time growing up outside of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area made Post a Texan for life and, unfortunately, a die-hard Cowboys fan.
Malone has worn Dallas Cowboys jerseys during major performances on at least four occasions.

He sported a #17 Brandon Aubrey jersey at his May 9, 2025 hometown show at AT&T Stadium, a #4 Dak Prescott jersey at the 2024 ACM Awards in Frisco, and a #20 Tony Pollard jersey during his October 21, 2022 Twelve Carat Tour stop in Dallas.
It may have all started in 2019 when he donned a Prescott "Color Rush" jersey.
Sharp-eyed fans may have noticed Post sported a Bob Dylan 1978 baseball-sleeve tour shirt at the gig in Detroit.
Some may have thought he was doing it ironically or sarcastically, as many young people wear vintage clothes simply for fashion.
But Post Malone is as genuine as they come. Way back in 2019 he was on the Dwight Yoakum radio show on SiriusXM and busted out "Don't Look Twice, It's Alright" on the acoustic.
In 2017, a young Malone told the Polish media outlet, NewOnce something that upset some in the rap world - that he wasn't crazy about their lyrical depth.
"If you're looking for lyrics, if you're looking to cry, if you're looking to think about life, don't listen to hip-hop," a 22-year-old Malone said.
"There's great hip-hop songs where they talk about life and they spit that real shit, but right now, there's not a lot of people talking about real shit. Whenever I want to cry, whenever I want to sit down and have a nice cry, I'll listen to some Bob Dylan."
What might make you cry is when you dig through Posty's setlist database is you'll see he's covered 70 artists from Nirvana to Metallica to Alice in Chains, but he seems to have kept his Dylan covers to places that don't include the stage.
Can we hope for a deep dive into Dylan from Mr. Malone once this country phase fizzles out? That, for sure, would be all right.
The Big Ass Stadium Tour next stops at the corner of Clark & Addison in Chicago on Thursday.
In June it will begin a west coast swing and conclude its North American leg at the home of the SF Giants, Oracle Park. Get your tickets on Posty's website.
