ENHYPEN Kick Off ‘BLOOD SAGA’ World Tour with Two Live Debuts

Over the weekend, popular K-Pop boy group ENHYPEN held the first three shows of their BLOOD SAGA World Tour at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. Following a short break, they will continue with five stops in Latin America, make a quick trip across the west coast in the United States, and finally finish things up with a European leg, concluding at The O2 in London, England.

Fans were particularly interested in seeing what the band had prepared for this tour due to the departure of the eldest member of the group, Heeseung, only two months before. This time, ENHYPEN completely threw themselves into the ‘vampire’ concept, with a storyline spanning four different chapters throughout the concert: Vanish, Hideout, Blood Saga and Lost Island.

The first act began in a sea of red, as a shrouded lift ascended from the stage before being swiped away in an instant to reveal the young men behind the curtain. They immediately kicked off the show with a flurry of high energy tracks like “Knife,” “Daydream,” and “Outside.”

During the second chapter of the show, the boys showed absolutely no sign of slowing down. This portion of the show definitely had a strong focus on hard-hitting choreography, which was especially showcased in songs such as “No Doubt” (which included a special solo part for member Sunghoon), “Blockbuster,” and “Go Big or Go Home.”

The third act was the most intriguing, where ENHYPEN truly sunk their teeth into the world-building aspect of the show. Not only did the group perform “Stealer” for the first time, but the upcoming four-song run of “Drunk-Dazed,” “Bite Me,” “Fate,” and “Criminal Love” was dark, dramatic, and utilized a perfect combination sonically of the members’ unique voices and the talented live band behind them.

The final chapter of the BLOOD SAGA was the encore that concentrated on the direct connection between ENHYPEN and all of the fans who came to see them in person. They started by returning in large moving carts for the live debut of “Lost Island,” which allowed the members to get closer to the audience and wave to concertgoers all around the venue. The group also made sure to include fan-favorite tracks “XO (Only If You Say Yes),” “Blind,” “Helium,” and “SHOUT OUT” for this section to end the show on a high note.
