Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks Duet at Met Gala

Just two weeks after live debuting the newest Madonna song with the Queen of Pop herself, Sabrina Carpenter performed two songs at the Met Gala with another legend, Stevie Nicks.

After posing their way up the icon stairway Carpenter (in custom Dior) and Nicks (in custom Zara) enjoyed the event and then entertained the A-listers with two small sets.

During Nicks' four-song set Carpenter joined her for a pair of Fleetwood Mac classics.

Sadly the no-phone rule was strictly enforced at the Temple of Dendur hall at The Metropolitan Museum of Art where the entertainment took place, so there is very few video evidence of the duets.

And the only song that was fully documented was the first one in the set, "Landslide" from the classic rock group's self titled 1975 album.

After the song was finished, Stevie had the stage to herself and did one of her trademark tunes, "Gypsy" from the group's 1982 album Mirage.

That was followed by a hit from her 1981 debut solo album, Bella Donna, "Edge of Seventeen."

Destiny's Child fans know that's the song the girl group sampled for their 2001 smash hit, "Bootylicious." Curious if Met Ball co-chair Beyoncé was in the audience and smiling when that familiar guitar riff sounded at the top of the song.

Nicks ended her set with Carpenter and the pair covered the Fleetwood Mac staple, "Don't Stop."

It was just last weekend, Stevie performed "Don't Stop" for just the second time ever as a solo artist, in part because it was penned by Christine McVie and was usually sung by Stevie's ex, Lindsey Buckingham.

It's nice to see the soon-to-be 78-year-old keeping it in her setlist.

After a reading of a Walt Whitman poem by Ragtime star Joshua Henry, Sabrina returned to the echoey hall and knocked out a trio of her hits.

Backed by nine musicians and four dancers, Sabrina kicked off her small set with "House Tour," followed by "Espresso," and wrapped it up with "Please Please Please."

Sabrina is taking a little break right now after headlining Coachella. But the Man's Best Friend album is still in heavy rotation and next month a 7" single of "House Tour" drops on "ballerina pink" vinyl.

More interestingly will be the "House Tour" remix by Fcukers titled "Back Door" which will be the B-side to the single. If it's done right, it could climb the charts and be the summer hit Brina's fans have been waiting for. So take your shoes off.

Order the single on Sabrina's website where you can also sign up to be alerted when she announces her next tour.
