Album Review: Christina Aguilera 'Liberation'

Christina Aguilera released her powerful 15-track album, Liberation. This is Xtina's eighth studio album, but her first in nearly six years. On this LP, she proves again to be one of the very best vocalists and a powerhouse of her generation.

Liberation is a collection of various styles that are working together to demonstrate the range of her immense skills. This album seems to be an experimental project for the singer. She ranges across various genres and with an assorted selection of producers and artists including Kanye West, Demi Lovato, and GoldLink.

Christina Aguilera - "Fall In Line"

She starts the album off with an orchestral title track, composed and performed by Oscar nominee Nicholas Britell. The tracks "Searching For Maria," "Dreams," and "I Don't Need It Anymore" act as spoken or interpretive transitions into the following song. The last three songs on the album decrease in pace, giving us a soulful ending packed with passion and emotion.
