Vampire Weekend has more than made up for their absence in just 2019 alone. They released their first LP in six years, Father of the Bride, and then shortly after embarked on an extensive tour around North American that's equipped with summer festivals galore.
The NYC indie-rock vets have been offering fans an all encompassing setlist each night of the tour that is filled to the brim with both FOTB songs and older licks off their other three LPs. Their setlists have been reaching up to 29-songs which often includes a seven song encore.
Even their festival sets, while much shorter than a normal gig, still carries on average 19 songs! Check out their most recent setlist from Firefly Festival below.
It doesn't end there, VW also graciously take song requests from the audience during the encore so you can literally hear any track during your date with the band.
With that said, we were curious which songs VW has either 1) Only performed once or twice on the tour and then not again, 2) Not performed the track on this tour at all and 3) Haven't performed a track in a really long time.
Believe or not, this was a difficult task, as VW has managed to include almost all of their catalog on the tour thus far. But we were able to find five songs that fit the above criteria, then we crunched in some numbers and came up with the odds that VW will add this song to their setlist going forth.
Check out our results below!
