Phish Kickoff Summer 2019 Tour With 17 Songs and a Live Debut!

Your dad's favorite jam band, Phish, has just embarked on a 26-date summer tour throughout the U.S.!
The current lineup consists of longtime members Trey Anastasio (guitar, vocals), Jon Fishman (drums, percussion), Mike Gordon (bass, vocals) and Page McConnell (keys, vocals).
The tour – which includes a few multi-stays in each city and an appearance at Bonnaroo – officially kicked off last night (June 11) in St. Louis, Missouri and is scheduled to come to a close September 1 in Commerce City, Colorado.
The Vermonters certainly brought the heat– while also keeping it cool. Their 17-song main set began with "Cool Amber and Mercury" from their 2018 Kasvot Växt set before digging into deep cuts like "Theme From the Bottom" from 1996's Billy Breathes, "Tube" from 1999's Hampton Comes Alive and "Slave to the Traffic Light" from 1986's The White Tape.

The band paid tribute to late crew member Leigh Fordham with "46 Days," as he's name-checked in the first line of the song:
"Leigh Fordham sold me out/ 46 days and the coal ran out/ Please come 'round here another day/ Sit yourself down when you're ready to stay..."
They also played an extra saucy, slowed down version of "Stash" from 1992's A Picture of Nectar, and live debuted a cover of Trey Anastasio's "Drift While You're Sleeping," a song from his side project, Ghosts of the Forest.

Other highlights included a psychedelic transcend into "No Men in No Man's Land" and an ethereal rendition of "Slave to the Traffic Light," which closed the main set before their two-song encore of "Turtle in the Clouds" and "Character Zero."
Head over to Live Nation to grab your tickets to one of these jam-packed shows (pun intended!) and check out the band's full itinerary below.
