Rejoice, maggots! Nu-metal heroes Slipknot kicked off their highly anticipated 2019 tour in Europe this past weekend. They got their tour started at a couple of EU fests - starting at Rockfest on June 7th, then heading to Rock im Ring and Rock am Ring in the Netherlands
All three festivals carried the same 18-song setlist that featured a career-sprawling showcase of all their best hits, new song "Unsainted," and deep cuts. They performed plenty of songs off their self-titled debut masterpiece and Iowa.
Each night has opened with "People = Shit," and ended on "Duality." But then they come back for the maggots with an encore of "Spit it Out" and "Surfacing."
These shows also marked the touring debut of their newest percussionist, who replaced Chris Fehn, and who we have no idea who is behind the mask, but maggots have been referring to him as "Chrisn't" or "Tortilla Man."
