Songs We Want Slipknot to Add to Their 2019 Tour Setlist

Slipknot have been blowing away their Maggots across shows and festivals and Europe as part of their massive 2019 trek in support of their forthcoming album We Are Not Your Kind.

Whether it's a festival set or a headlining slot in an arena, the nu-metal vets have busted out sprawling setlists that cover a little of everything from all five of their studio albums, including a couple new songs.

Before we dive into geeky setlist stuff though, let's take a moment to appreciate Slipknot's new and impressive stage show. Frontman Corey Taylor details their all-out production for the tour:

"Not only is it interactive – there's video, there's fire – but the whole set looks like an industrial complex. This is our attempt to create some Iron Maiden stuff, which is something we've been trying to do for a while. Honestly, it's everything that we've wanted to do for years, and we just never had the budget, and we had also had a lot of people around us telling us we couldn't do it."

Knowing this, it makes sense that their carefully crafted setlist is made to aid the visuals for an all encompassing show. Still, we took it upon ourselves to deep search our data, and find some beloved cuts that have been left out of the setlist so far. With their North American leg just around the corner, we thought it'd be a great time to put some of these requests out into the world.

Dear Slipknot, please add one or all of these songs onto your setlists, Love, Your Maggots.
