Solange Played 14-Song Glastonbury Set On Her Birthday in 2017

Queen Solange Knowles turns 34 years old today. The multi-talented artist has created a sound all her own that sets her apart from her diva sister Beyoncé, while sharing similarities in that they are both goddesses and masters of their craft.
Even on her special day, Solange isn't focused on herself. The singer has shifted her energy and focus on getting justice for all the innocent Black lives that have been taken at the hands of police brutality. Her Instagram timeline is filled with posts on BLM resources. Even today, she's still using her platform to demand justice for Breonna Taylor.

In honor of our social justice warrior, we're going to celebrate Solange's birthday the Setlist.Fm way by taking a look back at a timeline when festivals and concerts were still a thing!
In 2017, Solange graced the legendary Glastonbury Festival, for the second time in career, on her birthday. She performed a 14-song setlist made up of songs mostly off her third studio album, 2016's A Seat at the Table, and her 2012 EP True. The set opened with "Rise" and ended with "Losing You," but then she came back to encore with "Don't Touch My Hair" and then brought the performance full circle with an outro of "Rise."
