Shawn Mendes Kicks Off "Wonder: The World Tour" w/23-Song Setlist

Shawn Mendes has begun a lengthy run- kicking off Wonder: The World Tour with a sold out show last night (June 27) in Portland, Oregon. The tour is named after his latest release and fourth studio album, 2020's Wonder. This performance marks Mendes' first official tour kickoff (and for once, not a livestream) since the covid-19 pandemic hit. His last documented setlist prior to the tour kickoff was on June 4 for Wango Tango (see the setlist here.)

The 87-date tour's North America will run from now until October. The shows will feature special guests Dermot Kennedy and Tate Mcrae. The UK/EU leg of the tour, which will include King Princess as support, was forced to be rescheduled to the summer of 2023 due to the pandemic. For a full list of his world tour dates visit Shawn's official website here.

The tour kickoff took place at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The set was separated into three different parts - Act I: Wonder, Act II: Black Cherry, and Act III: Vanilla Sky. Songs from Wonder landed on the setlist like "Intro," "Wonder," "Teach Me How To Love," "Call My Friends," "Dream," "Song For No One," "Monster," "305," and "Can't Imagine." Shawn also played a cover of "Message In a Bottle" by The Police. The night concluded with an encore of "In My Blood" from his self titled 2018 album.
