The Rolling Stones kicked off SIXTY - their anniversary tour - last night (June 1) in Madrid. The band took the stage at 10:15PM at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, opening their 19-song setlist with "Street Fighting Man." It was a hit-filled set, but The Stones surprised everyone when, six songs in, they live debuted "Out of Time." The track was released in 1966 with the UK version of Aftermath. Check out Mick Jagger introducing it, then it's first-ever performance:
Perhaps just wishful thinking, but users on the Stones subreddit are speculating more rarities in the remaining 13 tour dates. Super fans who lurked the venue during rehearsals noted that they practiced "Mother's Little Helper" - a song only played live 11 times to date, and only in 1966. See more song stats here.
Guitarist Ronnie Wood celebrated his 75th birthday at the tour kickoff as well.
