Foo Fighters Continue 2023 Tour With Live Debut and Tribute

After a quick stint at the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals in Germany, the Foo Fighters returned to the United States this week with a show at Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas. This marks the band's first tour with new drummer Josh Freese, who was recruited last month.

Fans were excited to get a live debut during their encore at the end of the show. Accompanied by Violet Grohl, Dave Grohl's daughter, the Foo Fighters performed "The Teacher" from But Here We Are, their latest album released on June 2. Take a look at some fan footage right at the front of the stage:

Another highlight of the night was "Aurora," which Dave took the time to dedicate to old bandmate and friend, the late Taylor Hawkins.

"This song is very special to us and we like to do it every night. And we will every night from now on, because this is Taylor Hawkins' favorite song. I'll never get used to playing it without him. But, we do it for him."

The Foo Fighters' set in Arkansas lasted over two hours, with a total of 22 songs being played. Here is the entire setlist from the night:
