This past weekend, more than 70 of the world's most notable rock artists brought down the house (well, racetrack!) at the 35th Rock am Ring festival in Nürburgring, Germany. Spread across three days, Rock am Ring is one of Europe's most famous rock events, happening simultaneously with Rock im Park in Nuremberg, Germany. Every year, the two festivals consist of the exact same lineup but with each act participating on different dates.
The best thing about having all of these heavy-hitters in the same country at the same time is that the lucky fans in attendance often get to witness some amazing surprise guests make an appearance. So, let's take a look at some of the best collaborations from Rock am Ring.
Papa Roach had the audience going crazy while performing "Swerve" with Hollywood Undead.
And Evanescence brought out Papa Roach's own Jacoby Shaddix for an iconic rendition of "Bring Me To Life" that everyone seemed to enjoy.
Tenacious D invited Amy Lee from Evanescence on stage and had a blast together as well!
Three Days Grace had Dany from The Warning rush out from backstage to sing “Painkiller” for a hyped-up crowd.
Finally, Machine Gun Kelly and Oli Sykes from Bring Me The Horizon wrecked the stage during “Maybe”.
And that barely scratches the surface of all of the amazing artists that performed over the weekend. If you’re interested in checking out more from the Rock am Ring 2023 setlist, take a look right here.
Rock on!
