Addison Rae is ready to show the world Addison. Today (6/17) in an Instagram post, singer Addison Rae announced that she will be heading out on her first tour which will kick off in August of this year. The 24-date tour will make stops in both the U.S. and Europe, seeing her perform in Ireland, France, Texas, New York, Los Angeles, and more.
Earlier this month (6/05), the singer did a surprise pop-up show at The Box venue located in New York. The exclusive show hosted with Spotify gave fans, fellow celebrities such as Conan Gray, and friends of the artist a first look at her debut album Addison before its release date. During the burlesque-inspired set, Rae live debuted a few of her new songs, “Headphones On,” “New York,” “Fame is a Gun,” ending in an encore of “Times like These.”

Rae’s debut 12-track album was released on (6/06) and received high praise from fans and critics alike, as Paste Magazine writer Jaeden Pinder labeled her as “simultaneously feels like a coronation and a make or break moment, and Addison Rae has brilliantly cemented herself among pop's newest faces.” Along with the positive listener feedback, the album is currently number four on the Billboard top 200 albums of the week. The sound of the album hones in on creating a unique feel, by mixing eclectic futuristic pop along with her softer vocal melodies.
The ‘rebrand’ of Addison Rae has been a much discussed topic online. Rae started off as a Tik Tok influencer in 2019, where she quickly gained over 88 million followers. She received negative feedback when she released her first single, "Obsessed," which many found to be robotic and trying to fit an unrealistic mold. What changed? In recent years, the songwriter has leaned into being fully authentic, appealing to her more sensual and mature side. Shortly after she dropped the song “Headphones On,” many appreciated her realness in the lyrics, mostly as the world of social media presents itself as “fake.”
How can you get tickets to the much anticipated tour? Fans can sign up for the artist presale on Addison's website linked in her Instagram bio. The presale will happen tomorrow (6/18) at 10am local time. Those who can’t score tickets tomorrow, can join the general onset presale on Friday, June 20 local time.
