The boys aren’t lying! During her show in England on Thursday (6/19), singer PinkPantheress live debuted six of her new songs from her newest mixtape, Fancy That. There's a short, 4-song setlist from a few days prior that alleges she live debuted "Illegal" and "Girl Like Me" in front of a very small audience at Victory Lap Studios.
Pantheress started her journey in music as a teenager, sampling well-known songs from artists like Micheal Jackson while also creating her own sounds. In December 2020, Pantheress went viral when she teased her song “Just a Waste” on Tik Tok. In 2021 she started to see success in numbers as she found herself at the top of the UK Singles Chart for her songs “Pain” and “Just for Me.” From there she skyrocketed into signing with the record label Parlophone. In November 2022 she dropped the hit song “Boy’s a liar” along with the remix of it featuring popular rapper Ice Spice later that year. Last year she opened a stretch of summer dates for Olivia Rodrigo on her GUTS tour. Now in 2025, Pantheress is ready to make this year her own.
In May 2025, Pantheress released her second mixtape, Fancy That. The album features nine tracks including her most popular hit “Illegal” which started a Tik Tok trend. Alexis Petridis with The Guardian said the album, “simultaneously boiled down yet packed with ideas, fleeting but not lacking, familiar but fresh, focused less on making grand statements than with immediacy and unforced fun: all perennially good things for pop music to be.”
On Thursday (6/19), PinkPantheress held a show at the PRYZM in England. She hit the stage with her signature straight hair and a patch-work y2k-inspired dress. She began the set with fan-favorite, “Illegal” then moving into “Girl Like Me” and “Tonight.” This show was special for fans as this was the first time that she performed her songs, “Stars,” “Intermission,” “Noises,” “Nice to Know You,” “Romeo,” and “Close to You.” She closed the set with a repeat performance of "Stars." One fan that was in the audience noted on Tik Tok, that the crowd was even louder than the actual singer out of pure excitement. Pantheress also played her 2021 popular hit, “Break It Off,” and an acoustic rendition of "Pain," throwing some nostalgia in the mix.

On Monday she announced her tour, An Evening with Pink Pantheress, kicking off with a two-night stay September 18 & 19 in Brixton, UK. The North American leg will be making stops in Los Angeles, Toronto, New York, Chicago, and Oakland. Get tickets via her official website, then grab your mini purses and y2k glasses and we'll see you at the show.
