Hanson Reveals New Album and Accompanying Tour Dates

The "MMMBop" singers will never go out of style. The Hanson brothers have announced a new, symphony-inspired album, String Theory. The trio's last studio album, Anthem, was released in 2013.
The forthcoming release is self-produced by Hanson themselves and will feature songs old and new. Imagine "MMMBop" but with strings. The young boys we grew up with who coined the magnetic pop tune now takes a sophisticated turn. OK... This particular theory is actually TBA, but you get the idea. String Theory is expected to drop sometime this Fall. On their website, they stated:
"The album features brand new and rearranged recordings with full symphonic orchestration."
In the meantime, the boys are gearing up for their "String Theory" tour. Some of the dates will be performed with actual, live symphony orchestras. The pop trio have collaborated with legendary Canadian composer David Campbell on both the album and the tour. They'll be playing iconic venues across the country such as the Filene Center at Wolftrap in Vienna, Virginia, and Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, featuring some of America's leading symphonies.
The tour will kick off August 2nd in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and reach into the following year, wrapping up June 7th, 2019 in Buffalo, New York. Head to their website to secure your tickets, and peep the full tour dates below.
