The Night Running Tour has officially kicked off, commencing the start of summer! The North American joint tour features Beck and Cage the Elephant, with special guest Spoon, and supporting acts Starcrawler, Sunflower Bean and Wild Belle on select dates.
Their tour kicked off last night in Ridgefield, Washington at Sunlight Supply Amphitheater, the opening act was Los Angeles rockers Starcrawler.
Beck is still supporting his 2017 release Colors, while Cage the Elephant are touring in support of their latest album which dropped this year, Social Cues. The record actually features a song WITH Beck, which appropriately shares a name with the tour, "Night Running."
So did they perform the song together on opening night? Keep reading to check out their setlists!
Spoon
Equipped with a new bassist, Spoon performed a nine-song set to open up the night, following Starcrawler. Being an opening act, the band made sure to craft a setlist of some of their greatest hits. They played cuts like "The Way We Get By," "Don't You Evah," "The Underdog," and more.

And their setlist:

Cage the Elephant
CtE's 19-song setlist kicked off with "Broken Boy" and included six other songs off their latest album release, but not "Night Running"! So the Beck feature is still to come on this tour...
They did include some of their more well-know tracks like "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked," "Shake Me Down" and "Come a Little Closer."

Beck
The genre-blurring legend blasted off his set with one of his most popular tracks, "Loser." He then did a seamless string of older songs that went "The New Pollution" into "Que Onda Guero" into "Girl."
He performed only "Wow" and "Up All Night" off Colors, and managed to add a song from almost all his albums into the setlist! See it below:
