Garth Brooks Plots 2nd Dive Bar Tour Date + Venue - See Setlist!

One of country music's greats has spent the past year tackling stadiums across the country! The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour has been well underway since last October with Brooks performing to crowds from 70k - 85k every night of the tour! Inspired by his latest single "Dive Bar" which features Blake Shelton, Brooks revealed in early July that he would be playing a special 7-date Dive Bar Tour, with the first date being July 15 in Chicago, Illinois at Joe's on Weed Street.

Check out the live debut of "Dive Bar" below from Brooks' stadium date on July 19, 2019 in Boise, Idaho.

With only the first date revealed when the tour was announced initially, fans had to wait until this week to find out the date, location and venue for the second stop of the Dive Bar Tour!

The Dive Bar Tour will hold its second tour stop in Bakersfield, California at The Crystal Palace on August 15, Brooks revealed the venue and location on July 29 and the date on July 30. What will make this show extra special aside from the obvious fact that attendees will be seeing Brooks play such an intimate show, is that it's the same venue that Brooks proposed to wife Trisha Yearwood in 2005.

While we wait patiently for Brooks to announce the rest of the surprise dates, let's take a look at highlights from the first show!

The first stop of the Garth Brooks Dive Bar Tour featured a 25 track setlist. Of course the hits were on the setlist with quite possibly the ultimate dive bar song "Friends In Low Places" making the cut right after a double performance of "Dive Bar" which was recorded twice for Jimmy Kimmel Live.

There were plenty of covers on the setlist though, Brooks covered songs by Dennis Robbins, The Oak Ridge Boys, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Ricky Skaggs, Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Billy Joel.

Garth Brooks - Dive Bar Tour - Joes on Weed Street - July 15, 2019 - setlist

The encore from the first stop of the Dive Bar Tour was an acoustic version of "The River." There's a very good chance the setlist from the second date set to take place in Bakersfield, California will be very different. I mean, it's a Dive Bar Tour after all, Brooks is likely going to make every show a one of a kind experience!
