Photos: Paul McCartney Plays a Whopping 38-song Set in San Jose

Sir Paul McCartney illuminated the stage at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on Wednesday, July 10 with a 38-song set!
McCartney is wrapping up his Freshen Up Tour, which kicked off back in May. He's joined on stage by Rusty Anderson (backing vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar), Paul Wickens (keys, percussion), Brian Ray (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass) and Abe Laboriel, Jr. (drums).
The former Beatles and Wings star has been relentlessly touring in arenas and stadiums throughout North America since the release of 2018's Egypt Station LP.
At 77, McCartney still knows how to jam! The Beatles legend played a whopping 32-song main set and concluded with a six-song encore, clocking in at almost 3 hours.
The setlist consisted of mostly Beatles songs (21, in fact) including: "A Hard Days Night," "All My Loving," "Got to Get You Into My Life," "I've Got a Feeling," "I've Just Seen a Face," "From Me to You," "Love Me Do," "Blackbird," "Lady Madonna," "Eleanor Rigby," "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!," "Something," "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "Let It Be" and "Hey Jude" before an all-Beatles encore of "Birthday," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)," "Helter Skelter," "Golden Slumbers," "Carry That Weight" and "The End."

McCartney also played a few solo originals, like "Who Cares," "Come On to Me" and "My Valentine." Other covers included Wings' "Junior's Farm," "Band on the Run," "Live and Let Die," "Let 'Em In" and "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five" and The Quarrymen's "In Spite of All the Danger."
