You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might find you get nine more chances to see the Rolling Stones on their iconic North American No Filter Tour!
That’s right– the legendary rockers are still bringing the hits and deep cuts alike to audiences across the country.
Their No Filter Tour kicked off June 20 in Chicago and is scheduled to wrap up August 31 in Miami, with pit stops in New Orleans, Philly, Houston, Denver, Seattle and more in between.
Whether you’re a Midnight Rambler or Honky Tonk Woman, we know you’re secretly dying to get a glimpse at some of the tricks Mick Jagger has up his sleeve. Want to know what gets the rambunctious frontman moving and grooving on stage?
Here’s a sneak peak at what you can expect going to one of the Stones’ remaining shows!
How long is their set?
The Stones have been playing about 18 songs for their main set with a two-song encore to close out the night. Some of their shows can last up to three hours!
Here’s one of their recent setlists:
The Rolling Stones setlist (July 19)
What do they open with?
The guys burst onto the stage with “Street Fighting Man” or “Jumpin’ Jack Flash!”
And what do they close with?
They usually close the main set with “Brown Sugar” or “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” (if they don’t open with it, that is) and perform “Gimme Shelter” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” for the encore.
"Gimme Shelter" Live
Do they take requests?
If you're lucky, you might get the Stones to play songs like "Monkey Man" or "She's So Cold" by request! Try your hand.
What albums do they play?
A better question is what DON’T they play? Fans in attendance have heard cuts from the band’s entire discography, ranging from Exile on Main St. and Beggars Banquet to Sticky Fingers and Let It Bleed.
They certainly bring the hits like “Paint It Black,” “Miss You” and “Sympathy for the Devil,” but they also include some more obscure tracks like “She’s So Cold,” “Under My Thumb” and “Bitch,” which have all been played live less than 300 times.
"Miss You" and "Midnight Rambler" Live
